An Audience With His Highness (Cyxsur/Mickey/RoD)

"I am master Aqua.. I am master Aqua.." Aqua muttered to herself words of encouragement and reassurance as she wandered through the long darkness. Her muscles screamed at her to rest, fatigue and sweat stinging her eyes made her vision ever so slightly impaired as she stumbled forward. "Don't stop moving, don't stop moving.."The keyblade wielder urged herself onwards. She knew the cost of stopping to rest and she wasn't looking to pay it again. Her mana would just have to be restored for her to use a cure spell. That was assuming her energy could even recharge when she was this ungodly exhausted. At this point, cure spells were just a cheap industrial adhesive. She would need proper rest and some time to recharge if she were to ever make a complete recovery. But such a thing was not possible in the Realm of Darkness, where she was constantly hunted down by the beings that lurked about. Mostly unseen by even her own trained eye.

She could feel them, though. The darkness and it's inhabitants whispered oh-so malicious things to her, and though her heart was strong and her cause true, the words were beginning to have an effect on her. When her body began to succumb to the assaults on her psyche and physical fatigue, she fell forward and drove the tip of her keyblade into the ground. Using it for support as she landed on her knees and began to breathe heavily, sweat dripping from her face. Aqua could already hear movement.. the Darkness was coming for her. To attempt and consume her while she was weakened.

Meanwhile somewhere nearby a dark void began to form within the shadows, causing something similar to a slight whooshing sound moments before a hooded figure stepped through. As soon as they were through the void would vanish and be replaced by several other similar anomalies that formed around this figure on the ground. "Ah.. so you truly walk these lands." The figure would mutter in a hushed tone as Shadows began to emerge from the voids. Though, they did not rush Aqua. Instead they simply remained at the figures side.

"You are eager to have her heart no doubt, but not yet.. let us see what might become of this situation." The man then grinned under his hood before chuckling to himself. "There is no fun in attacking such a weak target. No sense of victory.. For now,
keep her busy." He would then mutter as the Shadows sunk low to the ground and began to maneuver their way towards Aqua, seeming to make certain to keep out of her sight as they approached. Even going so far as to not attack immediately once they would draw near. "Do try not to die, Aqua.. you still have some very important information." This time his voice was slightly louder, and almost taunting as if he were issuing an order to the wielder before him.

Aqua attempted to force herself to her feet as the Shadows approached her. Her first attempt at getting her composure to properly failed miserably, causing her to collapse back down to one knee. Her lithe and yet fit frame trembling under the weight of extreme exhaustion. Her lips pressed into a thin line as she held back a pained gasp. Growling in dissatisfaction at her own inability, she focused on thoughts and memories of Terra and Ven, using the strong light within her steadfast heart to her advantage in her second attempt at getting back on her feet.

"I won't die, not now!" She yelled in a righteous rage as she assumed a fighting stance. Her second wind seemingly found as she watched the darting Shadows closely. Her trained eye keeping near perfect track of her enemies while her teeth were clenched and her brow as furrowed.

"So you intend to fight? Very well, let me see your latent power!" A voice would murmur deep within the recesses of Aquas mind. The voice was cold, very calm and chilling by its very nature. As it spoke the shadows began to rise from the ground and dart towards Aqua. Two specifically closed in, one circling around to the back while the other stood in front of her.

Meanwhile the other Shadows moved to form a ring around the group, all swirling around in a circle creating what appeared to be a sea of absolute darkness with piercing yellow eyes peering from deep within. A sort of deep and quiet whooshing could be heard all around as if wind had suddenly picked up and had formed a cyclone around the fight. Far behind this sea of Heartless if she were to look intently, Aqua would be able to catch sight of the mans legs, poking out from the surrounding shadow with the rest of his body being obscured.

How did he get here? One minute, Mickey was exploring in Traverse town when he mysteriously came upon this strange gateway in the alley, only to chase his faithful dog Pluto into it and lose him straight after. It was dark, really dark, but he couldn't quite believe yet that this was what he was searching for all this time. It couldn't have been so easy as that under any circumstance! Nonetheless he journeyed onward, bracing his keyblade Starseeker at his side, he didn't want to risk getting caught off guard in a place like this. It was dark, really dark. As if dark was the foundation for this whole entire world. Which could only mean one thing...

"Gosh, this is the Realm of Darkness!" He exclaimed. He felt like jumping for joy at his discovery but being in the source of all darkness was nothing to jump at, it wasn't so much the darkness to be wary of but what lurked in it. And he could feel it in his ears that something deadly that way came. The darkness was perpetual, but beyond that there was something else. An aura of amusement and conceit, but also an aura of weakness and determination. Something even in a place such as this was unnatural at best and Mickey couldn't keep his own curiosity in check as usual, he just had to check!

He would hardly be able to believe his eyes that after walking he would discover not one but two people, the other, a lady, gave off a great big light but she herself was wavering and that wasn't good. That man looked mean and mean wasn't something Mickey would stand for. That lady didn't look like she would be able to make it even a minute longer, "That lady needs my help!" He stated quite obviously to absolutely no one. Guess it was just an old habit that he had from his past. Either way he needed to move fast! He drew his keyblade Starseeker and rushed on, as the distance grew thinner he finally recognized the lady that he saw up ahead. He drew in a surprised breath and shouted. "Aqua!" He ran to her side and braced himself for battle, he wanted so badly to catch up with her but with shadows appearing from nowhere there wasn't time for sweet pleasantries. "Don't give up! He shouted.

Mickey clasps both hands on the hilt of his keyblade and charges his energy, making sure that this move would work as much magic as it could!
"Let's team up!" He would shout.

King Mickey is charging one ability.
[SK Level 1] Holy Burst for 30% Potential damage to one target and 5% to surrounding targets.

The man would chuckle and cross his arms as he observed the newcomer. For a moment he was confused as they arrived but within only seconds of seeing him, identity would no longer by a mystery. "Ahh.. Mickey. An unexpected surprise to say the least. No matter, you will not hinder my plans." The man would say aloud before snapping his fingers.

At that moment two of the shadows would creep even closer, one to Mickey and the other to Aqua. That is, before all three would suddenly turn to face Mickey and rush towards him. All three jumping up into the air to deliver a passing swipe at Mickey as they would go by before they would land and sink towards the ground.

All three Shadows are attacking Mickey with basic Melee for 5%, potentially dealing 38 damage each!

'These things, they're not Unversed..' Aqua's grip on the hilt of her old master's keyblade tightened as the Shadows came into full view. She was fully aware of their presence before, but not of their true appearances. There was a type of Unversed similar to the little bastards, thus why she was so experienced in keeping track of the darting movements from underneath her feet. It was a necessary skill to learn. Those type of Unversed may have been weak, but in groups they could be extremely lethal if one didn't have a proper attention span.

As Aqua heard a familiar voice she had to fight the urge to take her attention off the slippery little bastards Cyxsur had just summoned. Her eyes had moved towards the source of the voice for a split second, but her gaze remained fixed on her enemies. This was no appropriate time for a reunion, but still, Aqua was quite happy to see her friend and fellow keyblade wielder again. He had saved her twice before, and here he was.. a third time! The pleasant memories brought a faint smile to her lips. Her eyes lit with newfound vigor and positivity as her composure straightened. She felt her exhaustion fade and her stance become more certain, composure straightening further and her breathing feeling more clear. It was amazing what effect the presence of a dear friend could have on someone in a time of need.

Suddenly, her expression changed to that of one of sheer determination. She leapt up into the air and back towards Mickey, her keyblade already surging with electricity! "Right, let's do it!" She cheered as she stood back to back with the king, their two energies mingling with one another creating a ring of both electricity and light around them.

Aqua's grip on her keyblade tightened further as the electricity exerted by her keyblade became more itnense, and in turn making the holy energy from Mickey's own weapon more intense.

Aqua is charging one ability, and combining her attack with Mickey's!

[SP 1] Spellweaver's Thunder, charged for 55% Potential with 10% to surrounding (5% +5% against Heartless) combined with
[SK 1] Holy Burst, charged for 80% Potential, dealing 15% Potential to surrounding (65% + 5% against Heartless, 10% + 5% against Heartless)

(Included Mickey's charge because as of right now I have not written the Charge mechanics anywhere.)

[SP 1] Spellweaver's Thunder will be charged for 80% Potential to main, 15% to surrounding next turn! (80% + 5% against Heartless)

This powerful combo can be fired at Mickey's discretion. However, Aqua's target is Shadow 1!

Mickey felt pain sting at his limbs just as soon as the creatures swiped against his body, but he would not be deterred. What was important was that his friend was in trouble and he needed to save her, he wondered to himself if Aqua had figured out whom these beasts were because they certainly weren’t the ones they faced in their time together, his gaze twisted to the shadows that attacked him before, “These are the heartless!” He explained, he would have to make this as quick as possible, “These things crave people’s hearts.” That would have to do for now. A simple explanation at best to answer any few questions that would possibly deter her in this time of weakness in battle.

He felt more than pleased with seeing Aqua’s vigor returning to her in the presence of a dear friend, it further proved his personal theory that friendship was a power up there with darkness and light. It was a special kind of power. He shook his head as he felt himself getting distracted which was clearly unwise when in the middle of combat. He glanced at Aqua and nodded to her, “Let’s go!” Just thinking of his friends was enough to fill Mickey with inspiration, a desire to win to be able to see everyone again.

Mickey felt the power of light surging through him and his weapon and he smiled in triumph and raised his keyblade in the air, “It’s ready!” He announced, he pointed his keyblade forward with a look of determination on his face.

Mickey is launching [SP 1] Holy Burst, dealing 640 damage to Heartless 2 and 120 damage to surrounding enemies.

Aqua is launching [SP 1] Spellweaver’s Thunder, dealing 495 damage to Heartless 1 and 90 damage to surrounding enemies.

Cyxsur gritted his teeth at the sight before him. Already they had done away with two of the Shadows.. certainly much sooner than he had intended. No matter though, if he truly needed to he could always send in more.. or perhaps bring in a new opponent. Now was not the time for such questions however. He had to be certain of their power.

As the first Shadows fell the third would immediately rush in, following in example by dropping low to the ground and darting towards Mickey. Launching upwards as soon as it would get closer to deliver a scratch at Mickey as it went by. Meanwhile the flood of Heartless that surrounded them seemed to be getting closer, certainly much too close for comfort.

Heartless 1 and 2 have fallen!
Heartless 3 is attacking Mickey for 38 damage, and has only 31 HP remaining!

A loud scowl and squeal would echo out as oozing forth from the darkness another heartless appeared. Wailing a tempered child with cries of anger and as if about to throw a tantrum. As his body solidified and appeared in its while small but still armored glory smashing a Mace hard into the ground. Appearing not far off from the side of the other heartless. Perhaps some part of him sensing the familiarity of the shadow figure. The one with promises and possible curiosities of understanding and power.

The purple like armor housing the dark spirit and helm clanking lightly as it shook in place over his bright yellow eyes and ooze like black mouth smiling within. Taking its mace and clanging it hard several times on its own helmet as if trying to rally the heartless that still stood. Its hunger ravenous and all ready feeling who could feed it here. Some familiarity and what had drew him here pushing to take the stance he did.

Drawing in a heavy breath as his eyes narrowed towards Aqua and the ray. His eyes fixating on the blue ones chesticles for the moment however. Narrowing on its target and her rather perfect more round other targets. A light crimson and or pink light showing under his helmet. But beyond that his cheeks that could be seen puffed up as he drew in a breath. Then another and another and another as his body began to puff up more and more eventually his body expanding as if it were a balloon. The air within him changing and mixing with his energy. Doing this for several moments till he seemed just about to pop. Chuckling as he did with a muffled tone. Seemingly with a hunt of chaotic nature in its childish ways. Just when it was about to pop!

A Miasmic mist of noxious fumes would shoot past it from its lips for the rat and the blue haired boobber. Allowing a growl at the end as the mist was rushing towards them both intending to poison the blue haired one the most but the excess poison aiming towards the rat as well. The sensation the mist often gave off was one of intense pain that encouraged if not sometimes forced its victims to give into fits of extreme laughter.

The creature chuckling as it smashed its mace into its helmet again several times after the attack rather it worked or not creating a ringing like that of a bell. Even sending the helmet spinning around his head several times with the final blow. "Smash, Crash, Tackle and Bash. Surrender surrender little blue pretender! Come little rat to the hungry hunting cat!" Chuckling out and laughing more intensely in its little childish voice as its helmet basked several times as if ringing the bell of battle against its own head and helmet.

[SP Level 1] Laughing Gas: [AOE] When his mouth is revealed and those little sharp teeth are seen. The heartless can create a haze of purple smaug the shoots out like a fog from his lips. Poisonous and noxious. Painful to breathe to the living. Usually if used on the living (NPCS) resulting in people to die slowly and painfully while laughing and expressing glee in the experience. [Poison AOE]

Aqua's attention was diverted away from the Shadows as Jarvis spoke, her eyes wide with surprise as she glanced down towards Mickey. "These things can speak?!" The bluenette looked back towards the soldier and noticed the purple miasma creeping towards her and her friend. Aqua had been poisoned a couple times before in her time as a Keyblade Master, it was never a pleasant feeling. She was always left feeling as if her insides were on fire when it was applied through means of injection to her bloodstream, she wasn't too keen on finding out what it would be like to have it travel down her throat and burn her airways. "Mickey, focus on that one it's far stronger than the others!" Aqua ordered as she brought her Keyblade out to her front, one hand firmly around the hilt of her weapon as she gave it a twirl and brought it back behind her, holding it in a reverse grip while her hand shot forward and let forth a gout of flames! The fire, if not igniting the poisonous gas, would still blast right through it making the attack almost null.

Aqua is firing [SP 1] Spellweaver's Fire for 40% Potential (35% +5% against Heartless)
Her attack would have done 360 damage, but 348 of that was used to block an attack. 12 Damage is coming at Jarvis!
