Command Styles allow for characters to better utilize their main means of fighting in short bursts. Everyone has one Command Style to start, and a second they may learn at a later time as they grow in power. Custom Command Styles are more in-depth than generic, more mechanically simple Command Styles that are listed in this thread. Applications for Custom Command Styles go into the same place as Character Applications when it's teacher has the requirements and a proper IC means of teaching it.
Let's say Bob has 1/3 Mana, if he uses his final point of Mana on a fire spell he may activate his Command Style: Firestorm. Fire Attacks made during Firestorm would deal 5% more damage unless it's a level 3 SK or SP, because remember that Level 3 Skills and Spells have a hard cap of 100% without being charged. Command Styles are active until you use a Level 3 SP/SK or run out of either your Stamina or Mana. Shotlocks cannot be used while a Command Style is active. Have some variety! Command Styles are meant to reward you with a small boost in power for flashiness and creativity in your combat posts.
Just to make it extra clear, Level 3 SP/SK and Shotlocks
DO NOT trigger Command Styles.
Below are a list of default Command Styles. You may begin with one of these, but you don't have to if you wish both your Command Style slots to be custom.
